Even if we contemplate the most sublime paintings and works of art we cannot gain benefits that compare with the benefits of contemplating and meditating on the famous Buddhist diagram of the Wheel of Life.
During this retreat you will get a tour of the Wheel of Life and receive teachings on how you can use this diagram to guide you in your meditation practice and inspire you in your spiritual life. You will learn why you experience the sufferings and problems that you do, and how you can permanently break free from these to enjoy a life of great meaning, wisdom, and happiness.
Each session of this retreat includes practical instruction, guided meditation, and time for questions. Although this is an in-depth retreat, anyone is welcome to attend.

TEACHER
Gen Kelsang Zamling, the Resident Teacher (main teacher) at KMC Chicago, has over 20 years of experience teaching and practicing meditation. Adept at guiding both new and experienced practitioners, he’s known for his practical approach, warmth, and clarity. He is also an immaculate example of someone who has taken Buddha’s teachings to heart.
