• The Path to Enlightenment Retreat: Refuge & Liberation

This guided meditation retreat offers an ideal opportunity to gain experience of the Stages of the Path meditations, or "Lamrim," which is a special arrangement of all Buddha's teachings that is easy to understand and put into practice. By becoming familiar with these meditations, we will gradually let go of unwanted feelings and attitudes, and strengthen our innate capacity for universal love, wisdom, and compassion.

Please note: This retreat day is part 1, with part 2 on Sunday, January 22; you are welcome to attend either one or both days.

This retreat is open to anyone -- new or experienced -- who would like to gain deeper experience of these wonderful, transformative meditations. No previous experience is needed. Each session will focus on a different meditation, and will include explanation and guided meditation.

10:00 - 11:15am: Talk & Meditation, "Entering the Path to Enlightenment" 

11:15 - 12:30pm: Lunch Break (bring your own)

12:30 - 1:30pm: Guided Meditation Session 1, "Life & Impermanence" 

2:00 - 3:00pm: Guided Meditation Session 2, "Spiritual Refuge & Protection" 

3:30 - 4:30pm: Guided Meditation Session 3, "The Bliss of Liberation"

This retreat continues on Sunday, January 22 (you are welcome to attend either one or both days)
