Purity & Peace: Compassion Retreat

Authentic compassion -- the desire to relieve the pain and suffering of others -- makes our mind pure, peaceful, and positive, which naturally makes our actions inspiring and helpful. For generations, Buddhist meditators have relied upon the Buddha of Compassion, Avalokiteshvara, to awaken fully their compassionate nature.

During this retreat, we will learn a very simple and powerful prayer, mantra, and meditation to activate our compassion, and thereby create powerful causes for world peace both locally and globally.

All retreat sessions will be guided, and no previous experience is necessary; everyone is welcome!

SCHEDULE

2:00 - 2:45pm: Teaching Session 

3:00 - 3:45pm: Guided Retreat Session 1

4:15 - 5:00pm: Guided Retreat Session 2

5:00pm: informal Q&A with light refreshments (Optional)
