Foundation Program (FP) is a enrollment-based class that emphasizes gaining deeper understanding and experience of Buddhism through systematic and guided study, meditation, and discussion. We meet weekly on Tuesday evenings 7-9pm (with breaks throughout the year); each Tuesday session includes guided meditation, chanted prayers, teachings and discussion. We are currently studying the book, The New Eight Steps to Happiness: The Buddhist Way of Loving Kindness, a perfect guide to helping anyone transform life's challenges into inspiring, spiritual growth.
Although attendence at this sample class is free, we ask you to RSVP below. We welcome you to meet our wonderful FP student community!

This class is currently studying The New Eight Steps to Happiness. Students trying out the introductory class can borrow or share a copy during the class. Those joining the class will need to have their own copy (available at our Oak Park and Wicker Park locations, and online through Tharpa Publications).
