Details
We all have enormous spiritual potential for higher states of happiness and freedom from mental suffering, which can be awakened through meditation and spiritual practice. This is our extraordinary good fortune.
During this morning retreat, we will contemplate and meditate on The Liberating Prayer, which is a beautiful and practical Buddhist meditation used to inspire and awaken our spiritual potential, ultimately leading to the supreme happiness and wisdom of Enlightenment. By reflecting on the meaning of this prayer again and again, we gradually reduce our daily problems, strengthen our love, compassion, wisdom, and joy, and thereby improve our capacity to profoundly help others.
In each session, Buddhist monk Gen Zamling will provide practical instruction and guide the meditations. No previous experience is necessary and absolutely everyone is welcome! Join us afterwards for light refreshments and social time.
